String of Leading Sinews 2016
This gutted couch is the body of the heroic Individual: once strong in erected isolation, now strained from Society’s demand. However, it relieves music from tight strings. The struggle to crave familial inclusion while chasing independence is vocalized through the haunting sounds of this constructed resonant chamber.

Household Gods 2015
A series of 3 domestic niches responding to family as a space of transient motion. The viewer is an intruder: holding the shower head like a phone, digging in a drawer and purposefully fiddling with taps to hear these private conversations tattled on by household plumbing.
Dissecting Pidgins 2014
Dissecting Pidgins 2014
Pidgin (noun) - a simplified form of communication shared amongst people who do not speak the same language
This performance acts as an attempt to translate the ephemeral language of touch into more structured communication forms. The audience is invited to touch the exposed keyboard circuitry where it directly translates into type and sound.
Memory Chaotic 2014
The work evokes an overall feeling of frustration at the inability to have complete control over memory. The damage to the lightbulbs demonstrates futile attempts to successfully enter inside memories. Even the failed documentation in the drawers is inaccessible distorted through a lens as another limit of control.
Dissembled Tympan 2014
This piece is a fantastical machine meant to transform books back into organic matter. The irrationality of this machine in combination to pairing the book with antiquated domestic objects (the ironing board and type writer); addresses a question of the importance of use.
Bookman 2014
This piece questions how the weight of knowledge is changing with the advancement in technology. Bookman represents the onslaught of knowledge that appears as a physical mass of the book. (Made in collaboration with Brienne Miller)
